These greasable shackle bolts 5/8″ are made from high tensile steel and are designed for 60mm wide springs with steel bushes. Commonly used on rocker roller springs where there is metal on metal contact, these greasable bolts fit inside the large steel bush and are pumped with grease through the grease nipple. These bolts are not to be used on nylon bushes as they do not require grease. Equipped with a nyloc nut, ensure the bolt is fitted tightly in the eye of the spring with the nyloc. Use the knurl of the bolt to tightly fit into the shackle plate to avoid the bolt from spinning, which can cause damage to the bushes.
