The castellated nut is essential for your safety whilst towing your trailer. More commonly known as the castle nut, it is used in conjunction with a split pin to prevent your hub and wheel coming off. It is a 1″ nut with a fine UNF thread which fits 2 tonne and parallel machined axles. 1″ – 12 UNF
