Over time wheel stud and nuts can wear down from shear. If you notice this, you should replace the studs and nuts to avoid having to replace the entire drum. The nuts are zinc plated for added corrosion resistance. With a UNF thread they should easily fit onto your wheel studs, get make sure to get the correct stud pattern which include Ford, Landcruiser, Holden and Commodore. Each nut has a 60 degree taper to ensure a tight face to face connection with your rim.
